Éabha Sheehan​

Éabha's family has owned Gleann na Lasracha - previously Lúí na Gréine - for at least four generations. In the 2000's, at the peak of the economic boom known as the Celtic Tiger, Éabha's family opened the stables as a riding lesson/boarding stables, and it took off.
But, unfortunately, with the economic crash and all of the children of the family going to college and emmigrating for various things, the stables fell into disrepair. After health issues forced the Sheehan parents to move closer to urban centers, Éabha took over the property, and, with a business degree and very little knowledge of horses, she called on her old friend Ella to help her with the running of the place, and such, Gleann na Lasracha opened its doors once more!

Ella O'Hare-Sheehan

27 year old Ella O'Hare is an old blooded Irish woman who will stop at nothing to help those in need. She uses a mix of old-school and modern methods to ensure that all horses under her care are not just surviving, but thriving.
She started riding her family pony before she could do anything else, and soon started riding at Lúí na Gréine, where she continued pursuing her passion, until it took her to college, and, eventually, her career.
A lifelong friend, and eventual wife of, Éabha's, she was a perfect fit for the difficult job of managing the running of the stables.

Donnacha McLoughlin​
​
20 year old Donn is a scrawny, lanky trans boy who lives rent-free in the minds of anyone who meets him... but also rent-free in GnaL's gatehouse.
Kicked out of his house by his religious father, he sought shelter in a place that he remembered fondly - the old Lúí na Gréine stables, from his childhood of horse riding lessons. He arrived to find it no longer a public stables, but after breaking down in Ella's arms, he was quickly offered a job and a place to stay.
He hasn't got many braincells, but he has a good heart and will always try his best, and for that, the women will stand up for him with their lives.
